Announcing the new Carolina Locust line

Carolina Locust launched a new line of sustainable agrarian products for the 2015 gardening season.

This new agrarian line provides a wide variety of products for the garden including vineyard and orchard stakes, posts, compost bins, and chicken coops. Each item is designed and built from Black Locust wood with the home and agricultural gardener in mind, according to the company.

“We wanted to provide a product that people can rely on for food-grade safety, while lasting a lifetime,” said Atara Jaffe, product manager.

Chemical-free, non-toxic and organic, Black Locust is an ideal alternative to pressure treated lumber, which can leach toxins into the soil, according to Carolina Locust. Black Locust vineyard, orchard, and garden stakes are a durable and sustainable solution for growing organically.

Each product is handcrafted in the USA and offers a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty against rot-resistance.
