Former secretaries of agriculture to advocate for Trump, Clinton

Two former secretaries of agriculture – one Republican and one Democrat – will take the stage to advocate for the election of Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton during the United Fresh Washington Conference this year.

Reagan Administration USDA Secretary Jack Block will make the case for a Trump presidency, while Clinton Administration USDA Secretary Dan Glickman will make the case for a second Clinton presidency, this time with Hillary instead of his former boss. United Fresh President and CEO Tom Stenzel will moderate their discussion.

This special event will take place during the General Breakfast Session on Wednesday, Sept. 14, in Washington, D.C.

This year’s Washington Conference will bring attendees face-to- face with members of Congress, their staff and top regulatory officials. The conference also features the Rising Leaders Program for up-and-coming industry employees. To register, visit the United Fresh website. For more information about the United Fresh Washington Conference, Sept. 12-14, call Angela Tiwari at 202-303-3416.
