Hall urges USDA loan forgiveness for black dirt onion growers

Congressman John Hall of Dover Plains Tuesday called on the United States Department of Agriculture to forgive any balances on outstanding federal loans that were taken out by onion growers in New York’s black dirt region in Orange County following severe weather and crop damage that occurred in the summer of 1996.
