Lēf Farms launches new website

Lēf Farms has launched its new website, www.lef-farms.com.

Lēf’s new website carries a contemporary look that gives visitors all the information they need in small bite-size portions. From short bits of news, to where you can find lēf greens, to summaries about each product, to the story of how lēf started.

Digging deeper into the site, you’ll uncover the driving force behind lēf Farms, including its vision for New England food independence, as well as its goal of creating a healthier community … both in business and around the kitchen table. Visitors can also learn about hydroponic gardening, while better understanding what it means to be “farm-to-table.” The site also provides a summary of the key staff members at lēf ..

The site’s product section covers the blends lēf has to offer, like its Smooth mix that contains a blend of leaf lettuce, Pac Choi, Mizuna and Oakleaf. The site also features information on lēf’s Spice mix, a blend of Arugula, Mustard, Cressida, Mizuna and leaf lettuce. And, finally, lēf’s Balance mix offers a blend of red and green Kale.

The new site reviews the various markets in which you can find lēf baby greens, including the grocery and hospitality markets, as well as educational facilities, institutions and restaurants in New England. Using the site’s Locate page, enter your location and the Google Maps plug-in shows you the way.

The site also allows visitors to sign up for email updates from lēf, or even stay in touch with lēf’s Facebook page. And the News/Events page gives you the low-down on what shows and events lēf is attending, so you can visit and talk with them face-to-face (and, of course get some samples).

The site also gives retailers a quick look at merchandising tools, from lēf’s packages to its signs, banners and floor graphics. Future plans for the lēf site include adding a variety of recipes created exclusively by some of New England’s top chefs specifically to showcase lēf greens, along with supporting images and videos.
