Richard Hassell, associate professor at Clemson University in Charleston, South Carolina, is a member of the SCRI project team. He presented an overview of propagation technology developments, including the use of a fatty alcohol rootstock treatment seen as a new approach to cucurbit grafting. He spoke at the National Grafting Symposium in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
