Ag Innovations Conference postponed in Santa Maria, California

The Fourth Ag Innovations Conference: Comprehensive Crop Care, that had been scheduled for March 18 in Santa Maria, California, has been postponed, according to an announcement March 12 by organizer Surendra Dara of the University of California, Davis.

“Due to the COVID-19 advisory to cancel large gatherings, I have consulted with several people and decided to postpone the Ag Innovations Conference (scheduled for 18 March 2020) until there is a suitable time,” Dara said in an email. “I will be sending a separate note to those of you who have registered for the event.’

At the Innovations Conference, growers and university, county, USDA-ARS and industry researchers were set to present updates on a variety of topics from artificial intelligence in agriculture to nutrient, pest, disease and weed management.

Also planned was an ag expo to visit and learn about various products and technologies the participating companies are offering.
