The Department of Labor’s Office of Foreign Labor Certification has scheduled a webinar on April 4 to educate stakeholders on new wage rules for the H-2A program.
The DOL recently approved new Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWR) for certain agricultural jobs. The webinar, according to a department news release, will give employers an overview of the regulatory changes.
The webinar starts at 3 p.m. Eastern and is scheduled to last 1 ½ hours.
Office of Foreign Labor Certification representatives will discuss the methodology behind the new AEWR rule and highlight examples of how it will be applied.
