EPA revokes registration of Dow herbicide

According to Midland Daily News, EPA has revoked the registration of Enlist Duo, a combination of glyphosate and 2,4-D created by Dow AgroSciences for the next generation of genetically engineered crops.

Enlist Duo was initially approved for use a little over a year ago in several states, and was intended to be used in additional areas in the near future. Dow AgroSciences has defended its use and said it will provide additional assurances about the protection of the environment, according to Midland Daily News.
