American Takii has hired Ing. Francisco Maldonado B. as Technical Sales Manager for Central America. Francisco is a resident of Parramos, Guatemala and received his Bachelor’s Degree from the Universidad Rural de Guatemala in Environmental Engineering, specializing in Agronomy.

Francisco has 13 years of extensive experience in the vegetable seed industry in Central America.  Francisco worked for Bejo Guatemala SA managing a research farm and for Rijk Zwaan Guatemala performing regional evaluation trials for protected culture crops (Tomato and Pepper) and highland crops (Brassicas, leafy and root).  He was most recently employed by Biosol SA of Guatemala City.

Francisco will be developing Takii’s full line of crops in the region for local and export markets.  His recent hiring is aligned with Takii’s strategy of providing enhanced technical service, evaluation and promotion of the company’s genetics in the region.  This is part of the strategic handover of responsibility for the Caribbean from ATI’s parent company to American Takii.
