Pennsylvania vegetable growers’ annual meeting held, election results set

The Annual Meeting of the General Membership of the Pennsylvania Vegetable Growers Association was held virtually on Wednesday, Feb. 17. About 35 members participated in the meeting to hear reports from the officers and committees on the activities of the association.

The following members of the Board of Directors were re-elected by the members: Brian Campbell, Amy Metrick, Arthur King, Michael Orzolek and Peter Flynn. Re-elected by the Board to ensure representation of different parts of the state and industry was Mark Troyer, a potato grower from Erie County. Not elected were Ted LeBow and Matt Christner. A total of 186 valid mail-in ballots were received.

The members also approved the proposed Policy Resolutions that set forth the Association’s position on various current issues. The text of the proposed resolutions can be seen in the meeting here. The Policy Resolutions from previous years are available here.
