Seedway hires Burchett as vegetable seed business manager

Hall, New York-based Seedway LLC announced Jason Burchett has accepted th position of vegetable seed business Manager for the U,S., Canada, and Mexico regions.

Burchett earned his bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Technological University majoring in agronomy and crop science in 1999. Prior to entering the vegetable seed industry, Burchett has experience in precision/digital agriculture and spent several years in the Western United States, managing the Trimble Navigation sales team for the Western U.S. and Canada.

More recently, Burchett comes to Seedway from Syngenta where he worked as sales lead for Florida dealers.

In his new role Burchett will provide leadership for Seedway product selection, introduction, pricing strategies, inventory management, planning trialing efforts and market across Seedway’’s entire market area. Utilizing a broad foundation of experience and knowledge in the industry, Burchett will work closely with customers, salespeople and supply partners in identifying product needs and solutions.
