Stokes Seeds hires Hetherington as executive vice president

Wayne Gale, president of Stokes Seeds,  has announced the addition of
Fraser Hetherington to its executive team.

Hetherington will assume the new role of executive vice president and will oversee the company’s marketing, product and supplier strategies. Gale will continue to oversee distribution and finance.

Stokes Seeds sees a great deal of potential in the vegetable seed market over the next several years and Hetherington will provide the company some top-level leadership in strategic planning and the support necessary to capitalize on those opportunities.

Hetherington has worked with several companies involved in the agricultural machinery, field seed and ornamental plants. His experience includes marketing efforts in both the United States and Canada.

Over the next months, Hetherington looks forward to meeting suppliers and learning more about the vegetable seed industry and its people.
