Accomplishments

After receiving Ph.D. degree in Horticulture from the University of Florida, Wenjing works as a vegetable specialist at Purdue University since 2015. She works closely with the melon industry in Indiana, conducting watermelon and cantaloupe variety trials. She also works with smaller and diversified vegetable growers, primary interests include vegetable grafting; annual plasticulture strawberry production; and use season extension techniques in vegetable production. Wenjing is the editor of Purdue Extension newsletter Vegetable Crops Hotline.
