Accomplishments

Since her start in 2005 at GFVGA, Oleson has worked to educate southeastern producers regarding food safety on farms and in packing facilities. Under her leadership, the food safety program has expanded its services to establish Produce Food Safety Services, a full-service food safety consultation and education program. She also coordinates all educational activities for GFVGA, including the 4-day Educational Conference at the annual Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference, in Savannah. Other days Oleson spends her time working on regulatory issues and general member initiatives.
