Accomplishments

Born and raised in the fruit belt of Western Michigan, Creela along with her husband Matthew, started Lake Michigan Berry, both are fifth generation farmers. A graduate of Grand Valley State University, she currently works with growers as a field representative for Peterson Farms Inc., and is very active on the family farm. Hamlin also serves on the board of the Michigan Blueberry Commission, focusing on research. People and Plants are what drive them forward, the joy of working with family and a great group of employees is what it is all about. Creela enjoys sharing her love of growing with others and is proud to be an American Farmer.
