Danielle’s passion for agriculture started at a young age, raised on her fathers Fruit & Vegetable Farm in Hart, Michigan, Eugene Kokx Farms LLC. Specializing in asparagus, summer squash & apples. After graduating from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Health Fitness & Cardiac Rehabilitation with a minor in Nutrition she later returned home to work in the Ag industry. Currently going into her 10th season working as a certified crop adviser for Helena Agrienterprise LLC, she continues to promote agriculture and educating the public about current farming practices.

She also works alongside her husband Justin Oomen at Oomen Farms who farm grain & vegetables and enjoys watching her son Colton (5) & daughter Charley (3) excitement for farming.
