Accomplishments

David is a 5th generation farmer working on the family farm since he was a child. After graduating from North Carolina State University with a degree in Crop Science, he decided to return to the farm and continue his career in agriculture. Together, with his father and brother, they grow tobacco, cucumbers, watermelons, and sweet potatoes in Eastern NC. They also operate a cucumber grading station for pickling cucumbers. They grade, pack, and ship around 500,000 bu. of cucumbers each year from their own fields and other local farmers. David concentrates on vegetable production as well as managing the cucumber grading station at his family farm.
