Extension Educator

Johanning is a Local Food Systems & Small Farms educator for the University of Illinois Extension in southern Illinois. He focuses much of his current Extension research and programming around weed management, cover crops and soil conservation in fruit, vegetable and grain crops. Johanning is also an active grower raising pumpkins and a variety of other crops on his family farm.
