Accomplishments

Zach Heiken is a first generation vegetable and grain farmer in Pedricktown, NJ. He began farming in 2005 with 60 rented acres. Today, the farm consists of 3,500 acres of rented and owned ground. The predominant crops are peppers, cucumbers, asparagus, grain and more. Zach is a delegate of the NJ Vegetable Growers Association and member of the Salem County Board of Agriculture. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
