2017 ag census data for specialty crops now online

The specialty crops data shows selected 2017 Census of Agriculture statistics about specialty crops defined as “fruits and vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, and horticulture and nursery crops (including floriculture).”

Eligible plants must be cultivated or managed and used by people for food, medicinal purposes, and/or aesthetic gratification to be considered specialty crops.
