The National Council of Agricultural Employers is set to host an upcoming educational webinar aimed at helping farm employers better understand evolving labor regulations and compliance requirements.
Scheduled for April 2, the free webinar, “From Paper to Practice: Engaging the IFR for Ag Employers,” will take place from 1–2 p.m. ET. The session will focus on practical implementation of the Interim Final Rule (IFR) and what it means for agricultural operations navigating workforce and regulatory challenges.
The webinar will feature industry experts with experience in agricultural labor and immigration law, including consultants and legal professionals who regularly advise growers on compliance with federal programs such as H-2A. Organizers say the session is designed to provide actionable guidance, helping farm employers move from understanding policy changes to applying them on the ground.
The NCAE launched its webinar series to address complex issues facing agricultural employers, with a particular focus on labor, regulatory updates and workforce management. These sessions are typically interactive and allow participants to engage directly with speakers on pressing concerns impacting their operations.
For fruit and specialty crop growers, labor remains a top concern heading into the 2026 season. Webinars like this offer an opportunity to stay current on regulatory changes and reduce risk while maintaining access to a stable workforce.
Registration for the webinar is free and open to the public. Growers and agricultural employers are encouraged to sign up in advance to secure a spot and submit questions for presenters.
