Certis USA adds Joshua Kim as supply chain manager

Certis USA announced April 26 the addition of Joshua Kim to its manufacturing group in the position of supply chain manager. Kim will helm the biologicals company’s efforts in managing supplies of their broad portfolio of solutions across global markets.

Kim brings experience in supply chains from work with BASF as Field Analyst, PPG as Operations Planning Supervisor and at Synthomer as Global Demand Manager. He is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and is certified in production and inventory management (CPIM) from the Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS).

“With the growing demand for biologicals and Certis’ movement into more global markets, it is integral that our supply chain continues to perform at its peak so that we can have product available when our channel-partners and growers need it,” says Kyle Beery, Certis director of manufacturing, said in a news release. “Joshua’s expertise will be key to better partnering our renowned manufacturing expertise with our distribution channels so that Certis can continue our leadership in the field of biologicals.”

Certis currently manufactures biologicals at three facilities, two domestic and one international, and distributes to more than 50 countries globally through a network of channel partners. With an industry-leading portfolio of biological insecticides, miticides, herbicides, fungicides and bactericides, Certis provides the solutions that growers need to manage IPM plans and secure their investments year after year.

“Certis distributes nearly 40 biological products for use in agriculture, garden and greenhouse markets,” Kim said. “I am looking forward to consistently ensuring that those products are in the areas they need to be so that growers can utilize them to protect their crops when they need them most. Bridging manufacturing and our distribution channels across all territories globally and domestically is vital to continuing to meet our customers where they are with the solution they need when they need it.”

Kim joins Certis at the company headquarters in Columbia, Maryland.

Headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, Certis USA is a leading manufacturer, innovative developer, and marketer of a comprehensive line of distinctive and proven biopesticide products sold in more than 50 countries today for use in commercial agricultural, horticultural and the home and garden markets.
