DuPont’s Vydate-brand insecticide/nematicides registered
DuPont also announced the establishment of a new product distribution supply chain and retail network that allows retailers to provide growers with access to the proven Vydate family of products.
Matt Garrett, product manager for Corteva Agriscience, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont, said Vydate products provide consistent control or suppression of several above- and below-ground pests.
Vydate products provide both foliar translaminar and soil systemic activity for top-down and roots-up control of damaging insects, including aphids, mites, thrips, leafminer, weevil, leafhopper and other yield-robbing pests across multiple life stages. DuPont Vydate brand products also reduce nematode feeding, movement, reproduction and hatching.
In addition, the insecticidal and nematicidal properties of Vydate products have been shown to enhance plant vigor for a strong start, promoting a healthier, better-quality crop.
“We appreciate the patience and support from retailers, growers and others as we have worked through the required steps to ensure we provide the quality and efficacy they expect from Vydate brand products,” Garrett said. “With this supply chain in place, we are again able to offer an effective, consistent answer to crop issues due to damaging nematodes and insects.”
DuPont Vydate brand of insecticide/nematicide products are restricted-use pesticides and are not registered for sale or use in all states. Contact local DuPont retailers or representatives for details and availability. Always read and follow all label directions and precautions for use when using any pesticide alone or in tank-mix combinations.
