EFI seeking nominations for Farmworker of the Year award

The Equitable Food Initiative (EFI) is working to recognize the skilled individuals who work tirelessly every day to bring fresh fruits and vegetables to Americans’ tables.

The Farmworker of the Year Award is open to all farm laborers and production workers who are not in a managerial or administrative role. Its purpose is to recognize the dedicated and proficient individuals who play a crucial role in the production of the fresh fruits and vegetables we consume on a daily basis, according to a news release.

Once nominated to the Farmworker of the Year Award, workers and their companies may be featured in upcoming content of the ag industry publication that’s partnering with EFI, including articles, podcasts and videos.
