Wage and hour investigations, audits topic for NCAE webinar

The National Council of Agricultural Employers, NCAE, is hosting the second installment of its educational webinar series, “Tips for Surviving Wage and Hour Investigations or OFLC Desk Audits.” The webinar will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 3 p.m. and is limited to the first 100 registered participants.

“This webinar will focus on areas of concern for both users and non-users of the H-2A program alike,” said Nigel Bocanegra, manager of association services. “Responding to audits by the Wage and Hour Division or Office of Foreign Labor Certification, OFLC, can be intimidating, we want employers to feel prepared.”

The webinar will be hosted by Mike Saqui, president and CEO with the Saqui Law Group; Rebecca Hause-Schultz, associate attorney with the Saqui Law Group and Chris Schulte, associate with CJ Lake LLC.

They will discuss tips for preparing and responding to Wage and Hour and Investigations and OFLC Desk Audits and participants will have the opportunity to ask the speakers questions about these processes.
