Southeast grower Generation Farms announces new CEO

Generation Farms has announced the appointment of Mike Thomas as its new CEO, effective April 2021.

Thomas had previously held the position of general manager at Generation Farms, bringing extensive experience in growing and scaling high-value fresh produce to the industry. With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Thomas brings a unique combination of deep operational experience, leadership skills and strategic vision to lead the company and drive its growth plans.

Thomas began his career as a third-generation vegetable grower at his family’s Florida produce company, followed by senior positions at Margiric Farms, Pero Family Farms and International Farming Corp.

Headquartered in Delray Beach, Florida, with operations in Florida and Georgia, Generation Farms is a grower, packer, shipper and seller of citrus, onions, vegetables and watermelons for the supply of retail grocery and foodservice markets.
