AMVAC announces new crop marketing manager

Greg Warren has joined AMVAC Chemical Corp. as crop marketing manager and crop team leader for Fruit & Vegetable/Potato.

Warren, who has 30-plus years’ experience in crop protection, micro-irrigation and biotechnology markets, will be responsible for AMVAC’s strategic and tactical marketing management in western U.S. crop segments. This includes key crops such as potatoes, tree fruit and nuts, and vegetables.

Ron Rowcotsky, Western region marketing manager, will remain with AMVAC for several months until his retirement. This will ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities to Warren, said Peter Eilers, global director of business development and marketing for AMVAC.

Warren’s experience includes 15 years working in Western U.S. distribution channels and crop segments. He has held numerous commercial roles in sales, marketing and business and product development with Dow AS, Chemtura, Plant Health Care and most recently, Albaugh LLC.
