Ladies to take center stage at IFPA Global Produce show
Female leadership will be a big focus at this fall’s International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) Global Produce & Floral Show.
The show, scheduled for Oct. 17-19 in Atlanta, will attempt to dismantle myths about female leadership, according to a news release.
“We told women that to break glass ceilings and succeed in their careers, all they needed to do is dream big, raise their hands, and lean in. But data tells a different story, according to a Global Show keynoter,” according to the release.

The women’s breakfast – one of the most popular sessions at The Global Show – caps the keynote suite at the event. This session is now included for all attendees with an all-access pass – no additional ticket required.
“Reshma will lift the burden we place on individual women to be primary caregivers and to work around a system built for and by men,” show co-chair Kristin Wells, director of business development for Food Lion, said in the release. “Through powerful data and personal narrative, she will lay out four key steps for creating lasting change: empower working women, educate corporate leaders, revise our narratives about what it means to be successful, and advocate for policy reform.”
Registration for The Global Show is now open and only attendees with the all-access pass can attend this important session.
