National Watermelon Promotion Board’s sustainability survey

The National Watermelon Promotion Board is conducting a Sustainability Research Survey.

The following information includes more explanation:

“This year the NWPB is conducting Sustainability Research for the industry. The project is important for the NWPB to improve understanding of member practices so it can serve them better in terms of research and education programs and will provide important data to support specific marketing messages for consumers. We are working with Milepost Consulting.

As a part of the research we need your help to complete a survey on water management and fertigation practices. This is just one part of a six-month study that will lead to a report on current and best practices. The more members that respond over a wider geographic area, the greater the robustness of the data. The survey will also provide important baseline data to monitor how the industry improves over time. To complete the survey you will need cost and quantity data on fertilizer and water in 2017. The survey will take less than 15 minutes – please follow the instructions. The survey is anonymous.

Please let me know if you have any questions.”
