Nelson Irrigation launches new products in Pivot line

Nelson Irrigation announced the launch of four new additions to its line of Pivot Products. Nelson Irrigation introduced the R55I Inverted End of Pivot Sprinkler, Clamp Saver, Slim Weight and 6PSI Orbitor.

The R55 End of Pivot Sprinkler, with a specially engineered gray plate, has been
made for inverted applications, Nelson Irrigation said. This configuration is found to be easier to plumb – and some say it’s effective in helping manage debris that collects at the end of the system, the company said.

Nelson Irrigation announced an expanded pressure range for the O3000 and O3030 Orbitor sprinklers. The new Orbitor with its bracketless design prevents debris hang-up and water pattern misting, according to Nelson Irrigation.

The Slim Weight is for use with Nelson pivot products. Available in both 0.85 lb and 1 lb options, the Slim Weight is a low profile zinc weight that fits directly into poly tubing, secured with a clamp, according to Nelson. The Slim Weight is available for limited release.

The Clamp-Saver is placed over clamps on drop hose beneath poly slip weights to protect the clamp from the “action” or natural vibration on Orbitor systems. Only the plastic cover version (6-10 psi / 0.4-0.7 bar) O3000 or O3030 can be used with poly slip weights, Nelson Irrigation said.
