Organic marketing webinar scheduled by Organic farming foundation

Growers interested in learning more about ways to market their organic products are invited to participate in the Organic Farming Research Foundation’s (OFRF) Farmer-Farmer Virtual Networking Event.

The webinar is scheduled for Nov. 10th at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time, 10:00 a.m. Pacific.

There is no charge.

The Seeds of Success: Farmer to Farmer Networking webinar plans to address the top non-production challenge identified by organic producers in OFRF’s 2022 NORA report: Finding and developing markets for organic products.

“This event will be an engaging opportunity for farmers to come together, ask questions and share strategies for overcoming their market-related challenges,” event sponsors said in a news release.

The session is scheduled to feature three women farmers that have creatively grown their markets for organic products. The session panelists are:

  • Amy Van Scoik, Frog Song Organics, a Hawthorne, Florida, vegetable grower.
  • Pam Mack, L Marie Ltd., a Mansfield, Ohio, vegetable grower.
  • Anna Jones-Crabtree, Vilicus Farms, a Montana grains grower.

Organic Farming Research FoundationThe farmer-presenters are scheduled to present brief presentations sharing their experiences and providing insights into their approach and process, followed by a facilitated Q&A session and breakout sessions to share ideas and opportunities.

Based in Santa Cruz, California, OFRF is a national public interest organization dedicated to fostering the improvement and widespread adoption of organic farming systems. The organization was founded in 1990.
