Presidio Registered in California

Valent U.S.A. Corp. has received California registration for Presidio fungicide in brassica (head and stem), bulb and root vegetable crops (except carrots, potatoes and sugar beets). The fungicide is currently registered on these crops in most states; New York registration is pending.

Available across a number of vegetables, Presidio’s targeted chemistry has proven highly effective for growers with crops threatened by downy mildew. Presidio also controls phytophthora root rot, according to Valent.

Unlike other fungicide products, Presidio has no known tank-mix limitations with other fungicides or insecticides. Presidio can be applied via sprinkler or used as a foliar treatment, according to Valent.
