Two new staff members join NovaSource

NovaSource, the crop protection business unit of Tessenderlo Kerley (TKI), announced the addition of Tim Kuechmann as account manager for the Pacific Northwest and Newton Roda as director of international business, Southern Cone, South America.

Kuechmann has sales experience with StollerUSA and Cheminova, and has served as an agronomist with Parker Ag Services and as a field consultant with Wilbur-Ellis and G.S. Long. Kuechmann is a graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in agronomy.

Roda will manage the NovaSource business in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, and Chile from an office in Campinas, Brazil.

Roda worked for the DuPont Brazil crop protection business for 13 years in various sales and product management positions, and for the FMC Brazil crop protection business for three years in marketing and product management. For the past 10 years, he worked in a consultancy role with both multinational companies and Brazilian companies that include distributors, grower associations, and cooperatives.

He earned his Ph.D. in business administration at Florida Christian University and an MBA in business administration from Universidade de São Paulo. He also has an undergraduate degree in agricultural engineering.
