WSU sets Dec. 14-17 for Soil Fertility and Cropping System webinars

Soil fertility practices can enhance or limit crop growth.

The WSU Farmers Network hosts a series of webinars Dec. 14-17 to share relevant, science-based information to improve soil fertility.

Webinar topics will include: Avoiding root burn, residue management, wheat and alternative crop fertility management, enhanced efficiency fertilizers, and fertility trends in eastern Washington. The live event will be offered free via Zoom from 9-11 a.m. PST each day, with recorded sessions offered through our continuing education platform for CCA credit following the event for a small fee.

The WSU Farmers Network soils education series works to support producers and ag professionals by offering high-quality and the most relevant content. This winter the workshops have all moved online, so the events are not limited by cost or geographic boundaries. Content will be relevant to anyone interested in soils in the Pacific Northwest.

For more information and to register for the live events, please visit the WSU Farmers Network Webinar page.

Also, stay tuned for the final agendas of the upcoming Soil Health: Measuring and Managing webinar from Jan. 11-14, and Decision Making Using On-Farm Data webinar that will be offered Feb. 8-11.
