Mooij Agro develops airbag for box storage

Mooij Agro has developed the patented Mooij Climbing Airbag. The stand-alone, inflatable, vertical climbing airbag is designed for sealing ducts in box storage for crops.

This product was developed out of a need from the market because people were looking for a simple and safe solution for vertically sealing ducts, according to the company. The Mooij Climbing Airbag allows for one person to install and remove the airbag from the ground.

The Climbing Airbag is filled with air from the ground until the desired height has been reached, and the duct is completely sealed. When stacks of boxes needs to be removed, the Climbing Airbag can be deflated, moved to a new position and then re-inflated again.

A guided item is attached to the inside of the Climbing Airbag, which ensures that the airbag is inflated from within and subsequently rolled up inwards as well.
