Michigan State University’s 2021 Oceana Asparagus Day to be virtual

Michigan State University Extension will be holding the 2021 Oceana Asparagus Day virtually on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Participants will learn about updated pest control, managing root rot, nitrogen management, asparagus research activities taking place at the Asparagus Research Farm, new asparagus marketing campaign and outlooks for 2021.

This year’s program will include a presentation from Claire Donkin, Global Plant Genetics Ltd, on a UK perspective on varietal performance.

This year’s program will be free.  Restricted Use Pesticide and Certified Crop Advisor credits have been requested for this program.  RUP credits are available only to Michigan residents.  Participants must attend the live meeting for the entire time period to be awarded credit hours.  Partial credit will not be awarded.
