BioSafe Systems names new manager

BioSafe Systems recently added Ed Chell as California territory manager for the agrichemical division, supporting the crop protection, water treatment and food safety business segments. Based in Camarillo, California, Chell will grow and develop the company’s sales goals along the central coast, specifically focusing on its new TerraClean 5.0/TerraGrow program and vegetable production.

Chell comes to BioSafe Systems with a California PCA license and a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding farming and agronomics. He has worked for a variety of farming operations including BLT Farms, A. Duda Farms, Sun World and Sunrise Growers. He also has experience with Chemtura Agrosolutions and Cheminova, with specific knowledge on strawberries, peppers and general vegetable production, as well as all facets of food safety and GAP certification. Additionally, Chell is fluent in Spanish and has more than five years of experience in Mexican vegetable crop production, according to BioSafe Systems.
