“We are thrilled to celebrate our expansion into Texas at Viva Fresh,” Abby Prior, chief commercial officer at BrightFarms, said in a news release. “With the opening of our new greenhouse in Lorena later this year, we will bring a leading brand with proven growth driving strength to the market.”

BrightFarms’ expansion plans are supported by the announcement of Cox Farms, a new business at Cox Enterprises focused on sustainable food and agriculture and a greenhouse operator in North America, which harvests 360 million pounds of produce annually. With the support of Cox Farms, BrightFarms has expanded its operational capacity in the U.S.

BrightFarms also showcased its Crunch Kit salads, which are indoor-grown salad kits available in the country. Featuring BrightFarms’ signature Sunny Crunch lettuce as the base, complemented by toppings, the salad kits offer consumers a convenient and delicious meal option.
