Ohio State University schedules High Tunnel Soilless Strawberry Field Night

Interested in touring, viewing, and learning more about growing strawberries with soilless substrate?

Join the Ohio State University (OSU) South Centers and the OSU Department of Horticulture for an in-person high tunnel strawberry tour.

The event will be held May 6, from 6-8 p.m., Registration begins at 5 p.m. at 1864 Shyville Road, Piketon, Ohio 45661.

This program will provide you with a chance to see first hand the latest strawberry growing technology utilizing a soilless method in a high tunnel environment.

“Due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, we are only able to accept 22 registrations.,” a news release stated. “Please understand that we cannot make exceptions. Attendees are required to wear face masks at all times and practice social distancing. Food and drink will not be provided so please plan accordingly.”
