Seedway names Western product and market development technician

Kenny Nakamura has accepted the position of Seedway product and market development technician for the Western United States commercial vegetable seed business.

According to a news release, Nakamura is a recent graduate of the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in rangeland ecology, and a minor in wildlife ecology.

In his new role, Nakamura will provide a direct link for Seedway product identification, introduction, sales support, customer relations and market development opportunities mainly in the Idaho, Eastern Oregon, Utah, and Nevada markets. Nakamura will work closely with Seedway customers, sales personal and seed supply partners in identifying product needs and solutions.

Nakamura was born and raised on an onion farm outside of Weiser, Idaho.

“Kenny’s strong passion and familiarity with agriculture will be a great asset to the Seedway team. In his free time, Kenny is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hunting and fishing,” the news release stated.
