Watermelon board to present consumer research

The National Watermelon Promotion Board will present its 2022 Watermelon Consumer Research Findings on Nov. 15.

The NWPB and its consumer research partner, Aimpoint Research, will review consumers’ attitudes and awareness toward watermelon and compare results to the 2021 report. The presentation will be via video conference at noon Eastern Nov. 15.

Topics include purchase behavior, consumption and health and nutrition. Consumer research helps to focus consumer outreach and findings are used to educate retail and foodservice audiences.

The report and presentation will be posted to watermelon.org/research under Consumer Research, and featured in the December Watermelon Update.
