Growers Report Mixed Results for Pumpkins

It’s the first day of fall and a traditional autumn symbol — pumpkins — are a bit of a mixed bag in the area.

Farmers across the Grand Traverse region report varied results with their pumpkin crops this year. Some had plentiful patches while others grew just enough, or not quite enough, for their own markets. Traverse City Record-Eagle
