MFFPA accepting scholarship applications

The Michigan Frozen Food Packers Association (MFFPA) will present up to three scholarships to winning applicants on Wednesday, June 22.

Applicant requirements include having successfully completed freshman year at an accredited community/state college or university and be in the top 50 percent of class scholastically. There is preference given to students who have a relationship with a MFFPA member and priority will be given to those with food science majors, but it is not a requirement.

Applications must be received no later than May 31, and each recipient must be able to attend the scholarship presentation meeting on Wednesday, June 22, at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

To receive an application for this scholarship, contact Emily Marx at 269-434-6791.
