Adams County, Pennsylvania, has new Extension educator on board

There is a new Extension educator in Adams County, Pennsylvania.

Jay Eury is a marketing and market development educator based in Adams County.

Raised on the other side of South Mountain, Eury spent the last five years developing The Gleaning Project of South Central PA that operates in Adams and Franklin counties.

He has experience with farm market development, diversified community-supported agriculture (CSA), craft beverage, food security,and anchor institution food system development.

Eury’s focus is on providing the specialty crop and fruit industry of Adams County with education and research on emerging consumer trends and business opportunities.

Agritourism, online sales, craft beverage and COVID-19 are a few of his front-burner issues at this time.
