Jul 17, 2024New John Deere utility vehicles to aid efficiencies
Equipment manufacturer John Deere has released two utility vehicles that are designed to improve grower efficiencies.
The new Gator XUV 845 and Gator XUV 875 utility vehicles are designed to boost productivity for farmers and ranchers.
The vehicles feature larger, customizable cargo boxes and improved comfort elements to make farm work faster and easier, according to a news release.
“The Gator XUV 845 and Gator XUV 875 are built with farmers for farmers,” Eric Halfman, John Deere’s marketing manager for Gator utility vehicles, said in the release at John Deere. “We worked with farmers across the U.S. and Canada to make this machine more versatile for all the work they do on the farm.”
Enhancements include a new exhaust system for better sound quality and an improved air intake system to protect the engine. The redesigned cargo box offers 13% more space, additional tie-down points and a 12V SAE power port for running small equipment, according to the release.
“These features are designed to be the extra hand we all need when we’re out in the field,” Halfman said in the release.
