Wish Farms, a grower and shipper of strawberries, has promoted James Peterson to chief operating officer.
Peterson, who joined the company in 2011 as vice president of sales and marketing, has been credited with driving significant growth at the company. Under his leadership, Wish Farms saw a 633% increase in sales revenue, fueled by modernized strategies and a focus on customer service.
“James is primed for this role. His ability to drive processes and be an effective leader makes this a strategic move for our company,” said owner Gary Wishnatzki.
With Peterson’s promotion, long-time employees Marcus Caswell and Jason Deis (“JD”) will take on expanded roles. Caswell will become Director of Sales Execution, while JD will serve as Director of Business Development. Peterson expressed confidence in their abilities, stating, “Marcus and JD have a proven track record with our retail partners, and I am confident they will drive our business forward.”
