FIRA fall ag robotics forum to be introduced

The International Forum of Agricultural Robotics – FIRA – is scheduling a news conference to discuss FIRA USA 2023.

Scheduled for Sept. 19-21 in Salinas, California, FIRA USA 2023 is a three-day event focusing on autonomous farming and agricultural robotics solutions.

The event, which is also co-sponsored by Western Growers and the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources, offers networking for growers, robot manufacturers, industrials and scientists. In-field demos, business time and research projects presentations are also scheduled.

The April 27 news conference is scheduled for the Salinas Sports Complex, home of the California Rodeo Salinas and the fall event’s location.

The news conference will offer space for equipment demonstrations during and after the event.

Sponsors call the even “the greatest 3-day event for autonomous and robotic farming solutions,” according to a news release. “After a successful first edition in Fresno, the French nonprofit association GOFAR, Western Growers and the VINE/University of California, Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC-ANR) are renewing their collaboration of the traveling event throughout California.”

The news conference’s agenda includes preview discussion with robot manufacturers and presentation of autonomous solutions.
