Vestaron, ADM aim to boost crop protection production

Vestaron, based in Durham, North Carolina, has announced a partnership with ADM to scale production of its peptide-based crop protection products. This collaboration is intended to help meet the rising demand for sustainable agricultural solutions globally.

The agreement will allow Vestaron to use ADM’s manufacturing capabilities and strategically located facilities, which are positioned to ensure efficient access to raw materials and distribution channels. This, in turn, will enable the company to reduce production costs and expand its market reach.

“The Vestaron-ADM collaboration is a testament to our commitment to deliver high-quality, bio-based crop protection products to farmers worldwide,” said Juan Estupinan, CEO for Vestaron.

This partnership also reflects both companies’ aim to promote sustainable farming practices and supporting innovation within the agriculture sector. By joining forces, Vestaron and ADM hope to enhance environmentally friendly solutions for modern agricultural challenges.

ADM’s president of precision fermentation, Leticia Gonçalves, noted that the company’s expertise in bio-based feedstocks and fermentation will support the production of Vestaron’s products.
