Ag Labor Forum turnout brings expansion of NCAE room block

The National Council of Agricultural Employers (NCAE) announces that the room block has been expanded (twice) and extended for its Sixth Annual Ag Labor Forum Dec. 4-6, 2019, being held at the M Resort just outside Las Vegas, Nev.

“The response for this year’s Forum has been amazing,” noted Michael Marsh, NCAE’s president and CEO.  “We had planned on increased attendance at this year’s event, but the demand has far exceeded expectations. It’s a reflection of the quality programming we put into the Ag Labor Forum. It just keeps getting better and better!”

This is the second time in 10 days that NCAE has had to expand its room block due to selling out of the original block as well as selling out all additional rooms following its first expansion.  NCAE also negotiated extending the room block close date to Nov. 14, 2019, to allow for attendees to take advantage of the discounted room rate in the block.

Marsh said, “We are thrilled, that with everything going on in ag labor at the present time, that so many are interested in having the most up-to-date information delivered in a beautiful setting.  And, attendees can earn continuing education credit from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) while gathering great information.”

Attorneys, academics, agents as well as representatives from federal agencies and foreign governments will dive headfirst into labor issues facing U.S. agricultural employers. Recent litigation, rulemaking changes and reports on cutting edge legislation impacting farm and ranch operations will be highlighted, as will compliance issues relative to ag employment, all will be on the menu at the NCAE’s Sixth Annual Ag Employer Forum.

Just for fun, the evening of the Forum’s first day will be topped off with a wine-tasting reception featuring premium Washington wines from Mercer Ranches.  The winemaker has paired his wines with delicious hors d’oeuvres for attendees to enjoy sponsored by A. Duda and Sons.

To check out the tentative agenda and to register for or sponsor this exciting event go to ncaeonline.org/events.  The discounted room rate will only be available for those who register prior to Nov. 14, 2019.

NCAE is the national trade association focusing on agricultural labor issues from the employer’s viewpoint.
