Azotic Technologies Ltd.’s Envita SC biological has received certification from the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) for use in compliance with the USDA National Organic Program.
Envita SC is now OMRI Listed® in the Generic Material Listing: National Organic Program (NOP): Microbial Inoculants Class: Crop Fertilizers and Soil Amendments, according to a news release.
“OMRI certification for Envita SC provides a much-needed solution for organic growers who may otherwise face a limited selection of products that help to ensure plant access to Nitrogen,” Ray Chyc, Azotic’s CEO, said in the release.
OMRI certification introduces Envita SC to one of the fastest growing segments in agriculture,” Tom Tregunno, in Azotic’s Global Business Development, said in the release. “Growers supplying bio-rational and organic products will now be able to take advantage of the many benefits of nitrogen fixation in a variety of crops and growing environments.”
